## **Extending Phase 1 Testnet Whitelist: Community Expansion Before Launch**

 ![](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex048/uploads/stabilizer/original/1X/69f0065cc7d412e726106e28449fe09db5d5bdc2.jpeg)

**Status: Open for Community Feedback** 💬

* * *

We’ve been evaluating the possibility of extending Phase 1 Testnet whitelist access to reach more of our community, and we believe this is the right strategic move before Phase 1 launch.

### **Rationale**

As Stabilizer has grown, we’ve seen:

- **Strong community interest from newer members** - People who discovered Stabilizer after Phase 1 allocation and have become active contributors

- **Geographic expansion** - Community growth across regions that had limited testnet participation initially

- **Institutional interest** - Organizations exploring how Stabilizer’s zero-slippage mechanics work for their infrastructure

- **Demand for testnet access** - More people wanting to test zero-slippage mechanics firsthand

Rather than keeping the Phase 1 Testnet extremely limited, we’re opening it up slightly further to build on this momentum and strengthen the protocol before more advanced stages.

* * *

### **Your Beta Tester Status Remains Valuable**

**This extension doesn’t dilute the value of being an early beta tester.**

You’ve earned your Beta Tester role through early participation and contribution. That credential stands. Your accumulated experience, and your position in the community are not affected by this expansion.

 ![](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex048/uploads/stabilizer/original/1X/5bf846badd8d92e96f08b06d9c77aa1b8103e0e2.jpeg)

Adding more participants strengthens the protocol without diminishing what you’ve already built.

For a deeper dive on what the Beta Tester role means, check out our Medium article: [https://medium.com/@info\_64583/deep-dive-the-beta-tester-role-45c2369d957b](https://medium.com/@info_64583/deep-dive-the-beta-tester-role-45c2369d957b)

* * *

### **Why This Matters for the Protocol**

**Early supporters remain first-class users.** New entries are complementary participants, not competitors. Expanding Phase 1 Testnet strengthens the protocol by validating your early decision to test Stabilizer and building a more resilient community heading into more advanced stages.

* * *

### **What We’ve Accomplished in Transition Phase**

Before expanding further, we’ve already validated our community-driven approach:

 ![](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex048/uploads/stabilizer/original/1X/202888ccc392895a7250cfa6b6fcf38f1b99d295.jpeg)

**Structured Community Feedback** We surveyed 4,000+ beta participants to understand what matters. The results shaped our roadmap and confirmed the product status. Read the full analysis: [https://medium.com/@info\_64583/stabilizer-beta-testnet-community-feedback-report-0c1beff5e410](https://medium.com/@info_64583/stabilizer-beta-testnet-community-feedback-report-0c1beff5e410)

**Risk Framework Published** We released a comprehensive framework for evaluating and onboarding new stablecoins. This transparent process ensures every asset is rigorously assessed before joining Stabilizer: [Stabilizer Risk Framework: Onboarding New Stablecoins](https://stabilizer.discourse.group/t/stabilizer-risk-framework-onboarding-new-stablecoins/181)

**First Asset Approved** PYUSD (PayPal’s stablecoin) passed our risk framework and community review. The P-Pool is ready for Phase 1 live, proving our asset evaluation process works: [PYUSD Approval: Consensus Reached](https://stabilizer.discourse.group/t/pyusd-approval-consensus-reached/422)

These wins show what’s possible when the community guides protocol decisions.

* * *

### **The Concrete Benefits**

### **Testnet Priority List**

We’re moving through Phase 1 in stages to maximize protocol validation and community participation:

 ![](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex048/uploads/stabilizer/original/1X/b6bac8680c069d73fb9298ac256041cbaa1ff03e.jpeg)

**Current Stage: Transition Phase (Transition from Beta to Phase 1)**

- ✅ Gathered structured feedback from 4,000+ participants

- ✅ Published Risk Framework for asset evaluation

- ✅ Approved first new asset (PYUSD) through community consensus

- Extending Phase 1 Testnet whitelist to reach more community and institutional participants

- Maximum 48-hour window for whitelist extension

- Screening process ensures legitimate participation

- Maximum of 50,000 total participants (including already whitelisted users)

**Next: Phase 1 Launch Date Announcement**

- Once whitelist extension closes, we’ll communicate the exact Phase 1 launch date

- Community will have clear visibility on when testnet goes live

**Final: Phase 1 Launch**

- Full testnet live with all participants

- Begin stress-testing mechanisms at scale

- Gather comprehensive feedback before mainnet

* * *

### **The Process**

**Timeline:** Maximum 48-hour whitelist window (matching the original Phase 1 allocation window)

**Limit:** Max 50,000 total participants (including already whitelisted users)

**Screening Process:**

- Automated checks for duplicate accounts, suspicious patterns, and bot behavior

- Manual review of entries to verify legitimate community participation

**Fairness:** All entries treated equally after screening approval. First-come, first-served basis with automated filtering.

* * *

### **What This Doesn’t Change**

 ![](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex048/uploads/stabilizer/original/1X/24c0d2a924a4a2ffd7d5172bce39de78db593706.jpeg)

- ✅ Beta Testers maintain their Phase 1 Testnet access and status

- ✅ No removal of existing whitelist spots

- ✅ All participants subject to same risk framework and safeguards

- ✅ Beta Tester role remains exclusive to early participants

* * *

### **Community Input**

Feel free to drop your feedback below. 🛡

**Note:** The whitelist extension is **not open yet**. At this stage, we’re simply gathering community feedback and gauging interest. Details regarding any potential extension of the whitelist will be announced separately.

</div>

The main thing is that the expansion of the list of testers does not detract from the merits of the first testers. And so it’s better for the project - more testers, more load on the network.

Excellent decision. Expanding to 50k max while protecting Beta Tester status is fair and strategic. This will help surface more edge cases and improve UX before mainnet. smart move, you gotta love stabilizer

</div>

Basically, the team is doing everything right, and I understand that the greater the load on the protocol, the better. The main thing is that they would be ready. My personal opinion, I would refrain from increasing the list. Quality is better than quantity. There are both pros and cons. Well, let’s see what happens next. Looking forward to the opening of Phase 1 🫡

</div>

I think this is the right move.

A mechanism is only proven when it performs under scale, not just under limited participation. More users mean better stress testing, more transaction diversity, and a higher chance of discovering edge cases before launch.

As long as early beta contributors keep their recognition, expanding participation ultimately strengthens the protocol.

I’m proud to be along though. I’m hopping stablizer really go for an advanced Dex whereby user will be able to fully control their assets. Futures trading activities should also be available so that some trading money can be generated for continuous running of the Dex.

Kudos to the whole community along with us (testers)

This approach strikes the perfect balance between fairness and security. The 48-hour window gives everyone a realistic chance to join, while automated and manual screening ensures bots and duplicate accounts don’t steal spots from real community members. Respecting the original Phase 1 allocation window also shows consistency and integrity. A fair, well-designed system that puts genuine participants first.

Expanding Phase 1 Testnet participation to a maximum of 50K users is a reasonable step. However, a structured expansion framework should be maintained to manage the expected surge in demand during the 48-hour window. Keep building.

It’s a good move imo, will be nice if stabilizer can be more strict in the aspect of controlling bad actors, not to game the system, I hopes for future rewards.

To me I’d say extension isn’t necessary but reading through the reasons why it’s needed, I agree with the idea.

I want the best for stabilizer.
