With Stabilizer moving into Phase 2 and adding L2 support, I think this is a good opportunity to significantly increase the number of whitelisted wallets.
My suggestion would be to raise the whitelist target to around 100,000 wallets (subject to team final decision).
The reasoning is simple: if the goal of Phase 2 is not only to test new features but also to prepare Stabilizer for mainnet, then having a much larger and more diverse group of testers could provide valuable real-world stress testing.
A larger testnet would help the team:
Test how the app performs under much heavier traffic.
Identify bottlenecks and unexpected UX issues earlier.
Stress-test swaps, liquidity, L2 interactions, and other core functions.
Collect feedback from a much wider range of users and devices.
Better understand how the protocol behaves when activity increases significantly.
Give the team more confidence before mainnet.
If hundreds of thousands of users could eventually interact with Stabilizer on mainnet, it makes sense to expose the Phase 2 testnet to a significantly larger user base beforehand.
100K whitelisted wallets may sound ambitious, but that could actually be the point.
The more real users we can get testing Phase 2, the more opportunities there are to uncover problems while we’re still on testnet rather than after mainnet launch.
Phase 2 shoudn’t just test the protocol. It should prepare the protocol for scale.
That’s true. Phase 2 isn’t just feature testing, it’s scale testing. A much larger whitelist (closer to 100k) would better stress the app, L2 interactions, swaps, and UX under real load before mainnet.More diverse users = more edge cases found while it’s still testnet. I think it’s worth considering.
The more real users we have testing Phase 2, the more chances we have to identify and fix issues while we’re still on testnet, instead of discovering them after mainnet goes live.
Expanding the Phase 2 testnet whitelist is a great step. More participants mean more testing, broader feedback, and a better opportunity to prove Stabilizer’s scalability on L2
The biggest point for me is the pure minting approach because it can provide up to 2× more zero-slippage capacity than traditional LP provision with the same capital.
The epoch system and flexible withdrawals also make it more practical for Capacity Providers. Definitely an interesting model to watch.
